Light

  1. Light is a form of energy.
  2. Light travels in a straight line.
  3. Light cannot pass through opaque or translucent objects.
  4. When light is blocked by opaque or tranlucent objects, shadows are formed.
  5. Light can pass through transparent objects
  6. The nearer the object is to the screen, the smaller is the shadow on the screen.
  7. The nearer the object is to the source to light, the larger is the shadow on the screen.
  8. A sharp image is formed when the light is reflected from a smooth and shiny surface.
  9. Aburred image is formed when the light is reflected from a rough surface.
  10. The most important use of light reflection is that it enables to see things that are difficult to look at directly.
